FAQ's:

Why should I take grief integration & healing guidance from you?

Great question!
I attained my BLS in Psychology & Marketing from Purdue University in 1999, and later my MSW degree from CSU-Sacramento in 2012.

I gained my Clinical LCSW from the California BBS in 2017. I started a part-time on-site weekend private practice (until COVID arrived then my office closed) while working weekdays alongside CPS foster youth in FR, then I transitioned after 3 years to Intensive Care Coordination roles & duties while partnering with county Mental Health, the California MH Leadership Consortium, and Calaveras First 5 for inclusive teaming and policy writing opportunities.

I gained quality experiences working alongside a brilliant hospital Palliative Care department, and their Social Work team. I facilitated Grief & Anxiety Groups when residing in Indiana and California for non-profit and county agencies; and I have active ongoing membership with ADEC.

Lastly ... I've had my own grief counseling a couple times after the deaths of my parents, nearly 3 years apart. Although counseling left gaps in how to fully thrive while moving with grief, I was able to navigate sorrow of friendship's ending due to their life departure. I leaned into tangles with God, strengthening my faith, self-care tools, and legacy building...living days as they arise, with improved self-compassion to pivot with the grief boomerangs.
